Archidona is home to one of the most important radio collections in Europe, housed in the new Radio Hall, located on the ground floor of the La Cilla building. This initiative was made possible thanks to the donation by technician Juan Sánchez Ferrer, who has spent over 50 years collecting and restoring historic radios and gramophones. The project was promoted by the Town Council and funded with support from the European Union and the Andalusian Regional Government. The hall adds to the town’s cultural offerings, alongside the Villa Interpretation Center and the Flamenco Library. In addition to being a tourist attraction, it also aims to serve an educational purpose. The Councillor for Culture and Ferrer himself emphasized the project’s significance and emotional value.
