The municipality of Archidona is located in the center of Andalusía, about 660 meters above sea level and is part of the group of villages that make up Sierra Norte de Málaga region.
Situated on the skirt of mount Gracia, Archidona covers an area of 187 km2, which includes the district of Huertas del Río, Salinas Station and La Romera Station.

Since ancient times, this village has been a crossroad of roads and cultures. Today, we remain a strategic hub for communication between the two Andalusias – Eastern and Western – thanks to one of the best highway networks in southern Spain: the A-92 (Seville-Granada) and the A-92M (Granada – Malaga). These connections provide fast and convenient access to the main nearby provincial capitals: Malaga is just 45 minutes away, Cordoba 1 hour and 20 minutes, Seville 1 hour and 50 minutes, and Granada barely 1 hour.
